Mindfulness in Life, Awakening in Death
with Janice Clarfield.

The Buddha described mindfulness of death as the Supreme mindful practice. He encouraged mindfulness of death practice to live an awakened life. This lends a deeper appreciation of our precious human birth. It helps us develop equanimity to difficulties of human existence. It helps us gain freedom from rigidity and clinging through a more expansive perspective of the inevitable. We learn to let go. Being Mindful of change and our impermanence nourishes us in new ways and gives us a a skillful orientation to both life and death.
